Prof. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami

Former Minister Of Communications & Digital Economy

A proud ATBU alumnus, has made profound contributions to Nigeria’s digital landscape. As former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, he led initiatives like the Nigerian Digital Economy Policy and Strategy, advancing digital inclusion and cybersecurity nationwide. Known for his expertise in ICT and commitment to youth empowerment, Prof. Pantami has inspired countless young Nigerians to pursue careers in technology, cementing his legacy as a transformative leader and visionary in national development.

Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, CCIE

DG of National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA)

A Esteemed ATBU alumnus, has become a key figure in Nigeria’s digital transformation as the Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA). With a background in computer science, he has driven initiatives that promote digital skills, tech innovation, and youth empowerment nationwide. Kashifu’s work not only strengthens Nigeria’s tech landscape but also inspires future leaders, showcasing the impact ATBU alumni have on national development.

Dr. Amina Sambo

 Director, Digital Literacy and Capacity Development, NITDA

Dr. Amina Sambo-Magaji, an accomplished ATBU alumna, is a trailblazer in Nigeria’s startup ecosystem. With over 21 years of experience, she has led initiatives impacting thousands of business owners and advocated for adopting emerging technologies to address socioeconomic challenges. Through the She and Tech Foundation, she empowers women and youth in technology. A first-class Computer Science graduate of ATBU, with advanced AI degrees from Robert Gordon University, Dr. Sambo-Magaji continues to inspire innovation and inclusion in the tech sector.

Prof. Nasiru Medugu

Dean Faculty of Environmental Sciences at Nasarawa State University

A respected ATBU alumnus, is a prominent figure in environmental science and sustainable development. Known for his innovative research and commitment to environmental protection, he has pioneered projects that address energy sustainability and climate resilience. His contributions inspire ATBU students and alumni, embodying the university’s values of leadership, academic excellence, and community impact. Prof. Medugu’s work highlights the vital role ATBU alumni play in advancing scientific progress and sustainable growth.

Dr. Muhammad Kabir Hassan

Manager, Grid Reliability and Security Analytics NERC at North America

Dr. Muhammad Kabir Hassan, an accomplished ATBU alumnus, specializes in energy systems, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. With a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering, a PhD, and an MBA in Strategic Management, he currently leads analytics for grid reliability at the North America Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC). His career includes roles at Capital One, The Pennsylvania State University, Nexans Corporation, and the World Bank. Certified in AWS cloud and CISSP, Dr. Hassan is a distinguished consultant and business founder, shaping the future of technology and energy infrastructure.

Engr. Seth Bakut

Engineering Consultant and Former ED Operations, KSDPCL

Engr. Seth Bakut, an ATBU alumnus with a B.Eng. in Mechanical/Production Engineering, is a COREN-registered engineer and member of NSE and NIMechE. He has held notable roles, including Executive Director of Operations at Kaduna State Development and Property Company Ltd, showcasing leadership in engineering, procurement, and development. With a career spanning construction and contracting, his dedication to innovation and efficiency reflects ATBU’s values of excellence and impact.
